The Verdon, Land of Freedom
Fancy a change of scenery, excitement and thrills? The Verdon is the place for you. With its vertiginous cliffs plunging into turquoise waters and wind-swept ridges, this region is a constant invitation to push yourself to the limit.
You’ll never get bored here. Rafting, canyoning, paragliding, electric mountain biking, bungee jumping — there’s a huge choice to suit all tastes and budgets. Passionate local operators supervise each activity with professionalism.
And after all that effort, a well-deserved treat: dinner on the terrace at Le Moulin de Soleils restaurant in Trigance, a night in Étienne’s caravan at the Ferme du P’tit Collois, or simply a glass of rosé whilst watching the sunset over the Grand Canyon.
Our Favourite Activities
Paragliding
A tandem paragliding flight from the hills above Saint-André-les-Alpes. The morning light creates ideal conditions. A breathtaking view of the Verdon lakes and gorges — an experience you’ll never forget.
The Route des Crêtes by electric mountain bike

Canoeing and kayaking in the Gorges
Paddle down the Grand Canyon in a canoe or kayak, between 700-metre cliffs and turquoise waters. A 9-kilometre route from Quinson in the Lower Gorges, to enjoy with family or friends.
Bungee Jumping
The ultimate thrill: leaping into the void from a footbridge overlooking the Verdon Gorges. For thrill-seekers only — the Verdon leaves no one unmoved.
